"A Grand Steel Building, Fading Away" - Malaga, NM. One Saturday evening in September (2011) my wife and I were driving around on several country roads, south of Carlsbad, looking for subjects of interest. We came upon this steel building in the town of Malaga, which is in quite a state of decay. It appears to have been possibly a feed and farm supply store at one time. I chose to process this image using High Dynamic Range (HDR). Although the image takes on more of a graphic art look, I like how the rustic textures are stengthened.
